The following young Americans will not celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with their loved ones. They were on their way home in a chopper that was struck by a missile attack in response to Bush's "Bring 'em on," dare. They are (according to Pentagon officials, relatives, as reported by the Associated Press and New York Times:
Sgt. Earnest G. Bucklew, age 33, of Enon Valley, Pa. was on his way home to attend his mother's funeral. Now, the family must bury another relative.

First Lt. Brian D. Slavenas, age 30, of Genoa, Ill.,
Spc. Frances M. Vega, age 20, of Ft. Buchanon, Puerto Rico,
Staff Sgt. Paul A. Velazquez, age 29, of San Diego, Ca.,
Staff Sgt. Joe N. Wilson, age 30, of Crystal Springs, Miss.
