One thing that you won't catch me doing is making reference to wars with catchy little nicknames, like "Operation: Enduring Freedom." and "Operation Liberate Iraq" (or whatever the Bush Cartel called it). Plainly said, the two events were pure-damned attacks and invasions. Some time during the final decade of the 20th Century, these two events originated in the form of planning stages involving oil men, some born to long-established Elite families. Of course, these people didn't cover all the bases, but with every crime committed, the criminal always leaves behind a trail of evidence waiting to be discovered, occasionally making sure everyone knows its there. These scheming men took advantage of the monsters that they're predecessors helped to empower - rogue leaders born to attract world hatred. And when the monsters decided to disobey their masters, then their masters marked them for removal of power. That's where the plans for setting the stage to gain public approval for war against the beasts are ready for their time to come. Then, the attack, invasion, neutralization and then occupation process of procedure takes place. However, the men that made these plans understood little about the business of war that surrounds maintaining neutralization during occupation. For one thing, they forget that their victims are like wild cats; they may cower if they know they've been overwhelmed, they may retreat and hide while tending to their wounds, but when their moment for vengence comes, they'll attack their enemies with shocking force. It's the classic Lion and Scorpion battle. Which one reigns triumphantly has yet to be seen, but know that the two will get the best of each other during the battle.
Both countries were resource targets
In Iraq, the proposed pipeline was for the transport of oil, Saddam Hussein had intended to work a deal with Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush (the senior, then Vice President in the Reagan Administration), or so they thought. I'm still learning the details on this one. However, I also know that, like Iran, Iraqi oil was state owned and controlled. With both countries, whatever country or leadership took control of each nation's government would also claim the prized resource. Either make that country a state or territory, or establish a puppet government and become the puppet master.
Various oil companies in several countries that include the United States of America and Japan had been involved in a deal with the Taliban to run a gas pipeline from Turkmenistan, through Afghanistan, to Pakistan, with a proposed extension later to go from Pakistan to India. That was in the late 1990's. The Taliban pulled out of the deal, because they didn't like the payment terms for what they'd get per a specific measure of gas that ran through Afghanistan. By 1998, they'd angered a bunch of oil guys that had already spent millions of dollars on the proposed deal. After that, Afghanistan became a military target for the U.S.A. That's right! Plans were already in the making to attack Afghanistan that year.
About the time the Taliban had pissed on the oil barons' party an email and website URL were circulated on the Internet, the latter and original plea message allegedly authored by a woman in Pakistan who relayed a (real or otherwise) account of being beaten by Taliban guards for allowing the wind to expose her arm. Who knows, maybe the story is true, but it's timing is certainly convenient. She was asking people around the world to contact the United Nations and request allied forces to remove the Taliban to end their cruel control over Afghanistan.
The United States had previously sided with the Taliban and had helped them to gain control over Afghanistan during the former Soviet presence in that country. Meanwhile, the CIA and other branches also trained what was known as "Freedom Fighters" in Afghanistan. Among the Freedom Fighters was Osama bin Laden. Osama and the Freedom Fighters later became Osama and his not-so-merry Al Qaida band of furious bombers.
Karzia, the recent man to be appointed to Afghanistan, comes from a tribe that specializes in opium poppy crop farming and marketing. The Taliban had burned the opium crops in the late 90's after they'd pulled out of the gas pipeline deal, where Karzia had acted as a consultant for Unical Oil before negotiations had ended. The United States was behind Karzia's leadership appointment following the late 2001 U.S. and Allied invasion of Afghanistan. Since Karzia's appointment, the opium crops have again flourished.
That's good news for the CIA! Opium and coca help to provide all kinds of funding for CIA activities and there's no doubt in this writer's mind that plenty of agents and other operatives enjoy nice monetary cuts from the profits made off British, American and other addicts and occasional users.
It was a secret business, seemed like just a wild rumor back in the late 70's, when I had been a part of the drug scene (never messed with smack, tried coke - it sucked for the price charged). But back then, a narcotics detective had decided to stop wasting his time with small-time street dealers and start following the white guy with the money- all the way to the CIA. In spite of pressure from superiors at the Los Angeles Police Department, attempts on his life, and eventually the end of his career as a Narc, he persisted in his investigation. His name is Mike Ruppert. Thanks to this former cop, it's common knowledge that the CIA is in the drug trade. That answered a lot of questions for me and my old druggy pals as to why stoners (those that smoke marijuana) and their dealers were getting all the heat while less attention was focused on coke and heroin suppliers (only small time dealers were getting busted along with users after purchases were made - money confiscated). Let's all give the D.E.A. and the Bush family's fucked up War On Drugs a round of applause for all the money spent, money made by the inside agents taking cuts, and the increase in the U.S. prison population (millions incarcerated for drug possession or sales, where freedom and the right to vote non-neocon is removed).
I haven't even touched what's gone on and is happening now in Central and South America! Just believe me when I tell you that some oil men and their cohorts are most likely eye-balling Venezuala, too. I've learned to distrust official government claims and what the talking heads and print media people tell us, anyway. I just check in on them to see if they offer any clues, then I seek alternative sources to get an idea of what officials and their Media Whores aren't telling us.
