North American Guerillas

Ah, you may not think North American Guerillas exist, but I'm here to testify that it's true - they're for real and their population is slowly growing. In fact, I'm one of them. Now, I don't look like a guerilla. In fact, we don't really have a look about us. We're human.

Now the next conclusion may be to compare us to guerilla warriors. That may bring up images of people toting guns and making bombs, attacking the ones marked as enemies. If that's the kind of image you're drawing in your head, perish it now.

New American Guerillas prefer to use non-violent tactics in their battles for freedom in thought and other liberties as outlined by the U.S. Bill of Rights. We're progressives. We are the heirs of the path that progressive Americans have struggled to carve for over two-hundred years. Along this path, previous progressives have sacrificed dearly for every long-awaited human right that has been bestowed on the masses of this land. We share this path with Americans like Mother Jones and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., just two of many progressive Americans that did our world a favor by going up against some of the most brutal and powerful forces undermining the efforts to truly make the United States of America a wonderful country in fact, not just in concept and on the pages of whitewashed history and government textbooks.

But our goals aren't merely progressive for and by Americans only. We've too much heart and our values too high for us to restrict ourselves to the nationalistic mindset and objectives. What we want for ourselves, we want for the world, like peace, decent living standards and human rights. Below these three general standards are long lists of details pertaining to the greater meaning of these values.

We are frequently challenged, more often chastised and slandered, for our virtues and our determination to share them with the world and to encourage the masses to stand with us against a resisting and undermining elite minority. Occasionally, blind followers and a rare few of ones in service to that elite minority enter our cyber worlds in attempts to undermine our efforts and to hassle us. But many of us are unyielding to their tactics.

Please allow me to introduce to you two Guerilla lairs:
GNN (Guerrilla Network News) and Conceptual Guerilla

These two lairs feed us with the richest food any human can taste, savor and digest. Oh, I don't mean the kind of food that we shovel in our mouths; I mean the kind that offers nutrients for our brains. Nutrients like information to teach us truths that we'd miss if we followed the mainstream crowd. (The mainstream crowd assumes to be well-informed by seeking information from sources where increased revenue is the bottom line - which are corporate-controlled, commercially influenced televised and print media.) These people don't learn much from their sources, unlike what we learn from ours.

What I've said about their sources brings me to this golden opportunity to introduce another Guerilla lair where we keep a close watch on how the public relations' industry and the people that fund it spin out misleading information intended to manipulate the mindset and activities of our society. This lair is P R. Watch

There are more... Lots more! Look to the right and you'll see these and many other sources to help you to fend off hazardous free radicals intended to warp your mind while undermining your life. If you're not already a fellow Guerilla (regardless of what land mass your presently on or call home), then you'll undoubtably become one if you highly value truth, peace, freedom and other rights.

If you wish to discuss these sources, or other topics relative to human rights or politics, you can find me at The Round Table
