More petition signing... Just doing my duty as a patriotic American by taking part of a democracy that's been stolen from us, pretending that my voice actually makes a difference to more than just a few honorable representatives in Congress:
Thanks to Mike Ruppert page on Where is the money?, which leads to the interactive website that asks the same question, shows us where it's gone and encourages people to sign the petition demanding accountability for those that have stolen over 1.1 trillion bucks from the U.S. Treasury Department (where our tax dollars go, folks).
Sometimes, I don't stop with one petition when I see more. Like with the petition provided by the folks involved in the Working Poor Picnic campaign, which offers a petition for all of us to appeal to Congress to pass a living wage bill. It's good for us and good for the U.S. economy. If we don't make money, then our employers won't make money, because more and more employers are paying less to working class consumers.
I seriously doubt that there are enough truly ethical and patriotic members of Congress. The last time I looked, there was a large population of Republicans out-numbering Democrats and, of course, good ol' Bernie (the only Independent in the House of Representatives). And what makes matters worse are the pro-corporate, vote-selling members of the DLC, the sores on the Democrat mule's behind. Therefore, while I've done my patriotic duty to sign worthy petitions, I don't believe they'll be passed by Congress, because certain members of the House and Senate don't believe that we working class Americans vote. Besides, these days, election fraud is in and getting easier:
Thanks to Buzz Flash for posting a link to Safeguarding the Vote just when I was hunting for the links to sites I've visited where election fraud is getting easier and more commonplace in America. I'm deeply troubled that there aren't enough real patriotic Americans to raise hell about things like Black Box Voting. Thanks to David Dill, professor of computer science of Stanford University, for his democratic contributions and efforts to establish Verified Voting Results in order to protect Americans from those that strive to undermine the democratic process of fair elections. (It's been getting more and more like those South American countries and like Iraq's one-candidate [always Saddam] elections that our media and lawmakers occasionally talk about.) Pity, we citizens of the Land of the Free, home of the brave, where democracy is touted and said to be promoted around the world are having to fight against strong resistence just to clean up our dirty elections.
Shame on those politicians and certain corporate friends of their's for pushing us to where we must establish watchdog groups like, Vote Watch. It's a sad, sad era in America... Our flag has been turned upside-down, just like a tearful frown.
